TD Jack MUHINDO MAHAMBA
Born on 30/06/1979 in Kanyabayonga in North Kivu/DR Congo. Driven from an early age by the passion for cinema, after my high school studies, I embarked on training in shooting, cinema, documentary film, editing. Then a Master Cinema training with the SUKA center! PRODUCTION of Kinshasa. During my trainings, I knew diverse trainers like Nelson Walker, Lynn TRUE, Djo TUNDA WA MUNGA, Petna NDALIKO KATONDOLO, I worked for many years as Cameraman, Editor, Projectionist, Pole vaulter, Sound Engineer and Technician at the Schiff Film Festival, Salaam Kivu International Film Festival now CIFF, Congo International Film Festival, festival organized by the Yole Cultural Center! Africa across the Democratic Republic of Congo before becoming Head of the Yole! Africa. I collaborated with several external media by collecting information and / or accompanying foreign reporters on the ground in Congolese territories, before becoming Founder of the Film Production and Dissemination Network, RPDFI, which produces and guides local filmmakers and organizes for 3 editions, a film festival called Week of Cinema in Kivu of which I am Artistic Director. I have directed several films such as documentaries and fictions where I served as Director, cameraman Editor or director of photography and sometimes as Sound Engineer.
Since 2018 I work as a Director and Cameraman in the house RPDFI which is a film production house.
